The designs are carved onto a white body of clay that was coated with a rich, velvet black underglaze, and the sound holes that are featured on the front or the side of the bell emit a distinct, full-bodied sound. 

The sound: Unlike tubular aluminum chimes that produce a continuous sound with the slightest breeze, these ceramic wind chime bells do not emit a constant tone. Instead, they require a slightly stronger gust of wind to reveal their unique sounds. My bells serve as exquisite pieces of outdoor art, capturing both visual and auditory beauty.

The clay: The wind chimes I offer are meticulously crafted by hand, resulting in slight variations. The delicate imperfections bear witness to the human touch, and minor holes, scratches, and blemishes may naturally occur during the clay extrusion process before getting fired at 2200 degrees.
